Each video lesson is one page with four steps. Your child watches an animated 6 to 10 minute video in short chapters, then tries three questions with a friendly coach who gives hints, practises ten questions that step up from Easy to Hard (every wrong answer explains the trap behind it), and finishes with a review that links straight back to the right chapter of the video.

There are 109 video lessons: 38 in Maths (from place value and fractions to ratio, algebra, area, volume and statistics), 27 in Non-Verbal Reasoning (rotation, reflection, codes, hidden shapes, folding, cube counting and more), 15 in English (comprehension, spelling, punctuation, grammar, vocabulary and more) and 29 in Verbal Reasoning (alphabet positions, letter sequences, letter analogies, synonyms and antonyms, hidden words and more). Every lesson is mapped to the question types in GL, FSCE and ISEB papers and to the KS2 curriculum.

Most families start in Year 4 or Year 5, about 12 to 18 months before the September test in Year 6. Short, regular lessons work best: one video lesson and its practice takes around 20 minutes, which fits easily into a school week.
