Build a space station in orbit, one job at a time. Each right answer docks a new part straight away: a module shaped like the solid, a net folded into a cargo crate or a tank filled.
Included in every Prep4All plan. Grand Prix is free to try first.

Space Station Builder turns 3D shapes, nets, and volume and surface area into a building job in orbit. A round is 15 questions in three build stages, Core, Habitat and Observatory, and each stage opens with its own topic, so every round covers all three. Every right answer docks a new part, and the last three jobs of the Habitat stage are a meteor shower.
A wrong answer never ends the round: the game names the trap that caught your child, shows the right answer, and the build carries on. Questions get harder after three right in a row and easier after two misses in a row. The mission report at the end gives a score for each topic and works through every trap. Badges and top scores are saved in this browser on this device.
Questions from the game, for you to try together. Have a go before opening the answer.
How many edges does a pentagonal prism have?
15 — A pentagonal prism has 7 faces, 15 edges and 10 vertices. Its ends have n = 5 sides: n + 2 = 7, 3n = 15, 2n = 10.
Which shapes make the net of a square-based pyramid?
1 square and 4 triangles — A square-based pyramid's net has 1 square and 4 triangles.
A bottle holds 9 litres of water. How many cm³ of water is that?
9,000 cm³ — 1 litre = 1,000 cm³, so 9 litres = 9 × 1,000 = 9,000 cm³.
