Fly from London to Cairo, Mumbai, Tokyo, Sydney, New York and home again. Each right answer clears the plane to take off, fly on and land, and quick answers win bonus air miles.
Included in every Prep4All plan. Grand Prix is free to try first.

Round-the-World Flight takes your child from London to Cairo, Mumbai, Tokyo, Sydney, New York and home in six legs. Each leg opens with a departures board, then asks a take-off and a landing question; the last leg adds a third, through the Atlantic storm. About three quarters of the 13 questions are speed, distance and time, with time and units revision mixed in.
A wrong answer is a headwind: a bumpy ride, a 12-minute delay and the trap explained, then the plane flies on. Questions get harder after three right in a row and easier after two misses in a row, and the storm questions are a level harder again. The flight report at the end gives a score for each topic and works through every trap.
Questions from the game, for you to try together. Have a go before opening the answer.
How long does it take a boat to sail 170 km at 50 km/h?
3 hours 24 minutes — 170 ÷ 50 = 3.4 hours, which is 3 hours 24 minutes.
A train arrives at 9:10 pm after a journey of 2 hours 50 minutes. At what time did the journey start?
6:20 pm — Count back: 9:10 pm − 2 hours = 7:10 pm, then − 50 minutes = 6:20 pm.
Noah cuts 4 pieces, each 75 cm long, from a 5 m rope. How much rope is left, in metres?
2 m — 4 × 75 = 300 cm. 500 − 300 = 200 cm = 2 m.
