A three-lap motor race against three rival cars. Every right answer fires a turbo boost, faster answers boost more, and three in a row unleashes the nitro.

Grand Prix is a three-lap race against three rival cars, powered by 11+ fractions, decimals and percentages questions. The car drives itself, so your child only has to answer: every right answer is a speed boost, and quicker answers boost more. Questions keep coming until the chequered flag, and the finishing place, from first to fourth, is the result. It is free to play, with no sign-up.
About half the questions come from Prep4All’s lessons on fractions, percentages and converting between the three forms; the rest come from the game’s own set, from fraction and percentage of an amount to percentage change and money and measure problems. Questions get harder after a streak and easier after misses, and the pit-wall debrief after the race explains every trap that caught your child.
Questions from the game, for you to try together. Have a go before opening the answer.
Write 18% as a fraction in its simplest form.
9/50 — 18% = 18/100; simplify to 9/50.
What percentage of 60 is 42?
70% — 42 out of 60 is 42/60 = 70/100, so it is 70%.
Find 2/5 of 20.
8 — 20 ÷ 5 = 4, and 2 × 4 = 8.
Orbital construction: core, habitat, observatory and a meteor shower
