A penalty shoot-out cup, from the group stage to the Final. Every right answer earns a real shot at goal, and faster answers leave more of the goal open.
Included in every Prep4All plan. Grand Prix is free to try first.

Penalty Cup is a penalty shoot-out cup built on 11+ number facts. Your child plays from the group stage through the quarter-final and semi-final to the Final, and every penalty they take starts with a question. A right answer earns a real shot at goal, and the quicker the answer, the more of the goal is open; a wrong answer is saved or hits the post.
Questions mix six topics evenly: multiplication and division, factors and HCF, LCM, odd and even numbers, primes, and squares and cubes. Each match is five penalties each, with sudden death if it is level. Lose your first group match and you get a second chance; after that, one defeat ends the cup run. Questions get harder after a streak and easier after misses, and the match analysis at the end explains every trap that caught your child.
Questions from the game, for you to try together. Have a go before opening the answer.
Leo goes swimming every 9 days and Maya every 21 days. They both swim today. In how many days will they next swim on the same day?
63 days — They come round together again after the LCM of 9 and 21: 63 days.
Which of these numbers is prime?
53 — 53 is prime: 2, 3, 5 or 7 do not divide it, and 11 × 11 = 121 is past 53. Every other option has a factor besides 1 and itself.
What is the highest common factor (HCF) of 68 and 108?
4 — 68 = 2 × 2 × 17; 108 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 3. They share 2 × 2 = 4.
