Dive a submarine through four ocean zones to a treasure chest on the sea floor, 6,000 metres down. Each right answer takes the sub deeper, pings the sonar and collects pearls.
Included in every Prep4All plan. Space Mission is free to try first.

Deep Sea Dive practises 11+ vocabulary questions: closest and opposite meanings, words in context, homonyms, words with more than one meaning, and analogies. The dive passes through four real ocean zones, from the sunlight zone to the abyss, and each zone leans on one topic. Every zone has three dive stages and ends with a harder pressure test.
Questions get harder after three right in a row and easier after two misses in a row. The answer bar never runs out; it only decides the bonus pearls, and the rank counts right answers before pearls. A wrong answer is a current that pushes the sub up a little, never above the zone’s checkpoint, and the trap is explained before the dive goes on.
Closest-meaning, opposite-meaning and analogy questions also come up in 11+ verbal reasoning papers set by GL Assessment, CEM, ISEB and many independent schools.
Questions from the game, for you to try together. Have a go before opening the answer.
Which word is closest in meaning to ‘fragile’ in this sentence? Wrap the “fragile” glass vase in bubble wrap so that it does not crack.
delicate — The clue is ‘so that it does not crack’. Here, fragile means easily broken, so delicate is closest.
What does ‘key’ mean in this sentence? The detective found a “key” piece of evidence.
very important — The clue is ‘piece of evidence’, so here ‘key’ means very important.
Choose the one word that fits both gaps. The school play has been moved to a new ___. A ___ is a sweet brown fruit that grows on palm trees.
date — Date fits both gaps. In sentence 1 it means the day, month and year when something happens; in sentence 2 it means a sweet brown fruit.
