"Welcome to the Mystery Riddle Room!"
Riddles are clever puzzles that use wordplay and lateral thinking to trick your brain. Your job is to think creatively and find the answer!
💬 "I have cities but no houses, forests but no trees, and water but no fish. What am I?"
Answer: A map! 🗺
A map shows cities, forests, and water, but they are just drawings, not real things!
🎓 Riddles test your vocabulary and creative thinking — skills needed for the 11+ English exam!

📚 What Makes a Good Riddle?
🎭
"Riddles use three clever tricks to fool you. Once you know the tricks, you can solve any riddle!"
Trick 1: Double Meanings 💬
"What has hands but cannot clap?"
Answer: A clock! Clocks have "hands" but not the kind that clap.
The word "hands" has two meanings — body parts and clock parts.
Trick 2: Describing Something Differently 🤔
"I follow you everywhere but you can never catch me. What am I?"
Answer: Your shadow! It follows you but you cannot grab it.
Trick 3: Impossible-Sounding Statements 😲
"The more you take, the more you leave behind. What am I?"
Answer: Footsteps! Each step you "take" leaves a footprint behind.
"When you hear a riddle, think: could any word have a different meaning?" 🤔
🧠 Riddle-Solving Strategies
🎭
1 Read carefully — every word in a riddle is a clue
2 Look for double meanings — which words could mean something else?
3 Think literally — what object matches ALL the clues?
4 Check your answer — does it fit every part of the riddle?
Practice Riddle:
"I have keys but no locks. I have space but no room. You can enter but you cannot go inside. What am I?"
Let's solve it step by step:
🔑 "Keys but no locks" — what has keys? A piano? A keyboard?
🚀 "Space but no room" — a keyboard has a space bar!
🔧 "Enter but cannot go inside" — a keyboard has an Enter key!
Answer: A computer keyboard! ⌨️

- Don't rush — read the riddle at least twice
